She grew up near Hollywood Boulevard and has a Greek father and Latino mother. She visited wrestling and boxing matches at the Olympic Auditorium on young age and these matches inspire her to begin with fighting. She gets her first judo lesson from her uncle Gene Lebell (a world-famous stuntman) when she was 11 years old. She has a black belt in judo & karate and is trained in the use of firearms, archery and martial arts weapons. She is also trained in kickboxing and Boxing. She fights professional matches since her sixteen and is several times martial arts and wrestling champion. She made her wrestling debut at the American Wrestling Association in 1988.

She traveled 22 years around the world as fighter and retired after the birth of her twins. She settles with her children on a ranch outside Los Angels.


She starts her own movie production company called ''Stepping Out Productions'' in 1992. She had money problems in the beginning of her movie production career and said in an interview: ''At the time, I had championship belts from around the world. I'd never made a movie before! But I knew I couldn't fight forever, so I'd put myself through special-effects-makeup school. I'd done that for a bunch of movies and ran the makeup department, so I got lots of connections for cameramen, etc. It was a two-week shoot and it went so smoothly. We ran out of money, so I took a six-week fighting gig in Japan and scored a great distribution deal there. And eventually, I rolled it into six other films''.


Action Movie Career

She made her action movie debut in ''American Angels: Baptism of Blood'' (1989). Lisa (played by Jan Sebastian) her wish is to become a wrestler and her dream comes out when she joins the female wrestling show ''American Angels''. Lisa seduces show manager Donald (played by Tray Loren), in order to fight against reigning champion Magnificent Mimi. Donald and Mimi are a couple and Magnificent Mimi can't wait to beat Lisa.


She returns back home as world champion wrestling after her title fight in her first movie production ''pushed to the limit'' (1992). Drugs lord Harry Lee (played by Eidan Hanzei) injures her boyfriend and kills her younger brother during an assassination attempt. Drugs lord Harry is also the organisor of the fight tournament ''Kumite'' where she participates, in order to take revenge. Master Vern (played by Verrel Reed) gives her lessons in kickboxing and tai chi to prepare her for battle. She notices during the tournament that Master Vern is kidnapped by Harry's men. She tries to rescue him during the tournament while she is determined to defeat Drugs Lord Harry and his men.

She plays an short role as Feather in this story about Johnny (played by Erik Estrada), whose family is murdered by his former biker gang in "The Last Riders" (1992). He fights against the biker gang with help of the police in order to take revenge for his family.

She plays plays a supporting role as Roxy next to Kathleen Kinmont who plays the role of Maggie in "Final Impact" (1992). Former world champion kickboxing Nick (played by Lorenzo Lamas) discovers light heavy-weight champion Danny (played by Micheal Worth) from Ohio during an tournament. Nick trains the ambitious Danny in order to prepare him for his fight against the reigning champion Joe (played by Mike Toney) at the world championships in Las Vegas.


She plays wilderness guide Tipper Taylor who gets problems with two killers, when a person of her group accidentally records a murder with the camera during the tour through the wildernes in ''Beyond Fear'' (1993). Tipper is luckily a martial arts expert who defends the group against the killers with succes.

She plays former special forces operative Melody Sails who works
 now as newspaper employee in "Streets of Rage" (1994). Her boss asks her to write a story about a murdered prostitute. She sees that an group of local children is harassed by men during her investigation. Melody rescues them and becomes friends with the children who tell her that drugs lord Lunar (played by Oliver Page) the man is behind the murder of the prostitute. She takes revenge against Lunar and his men, after killing one of the kids

She plays Bonnie Blackwell who is nearly beaten to death by her sick and sadistic husband (played by Timothy Bottoms) in '''Personal Vendetta'' (1995). She decides to join the police in order to overcome her greatest fears. She confronts her husband when he is released from prison. 

She plays marine major M.J. "Mimi" Lagos who leaves the navy after she has devoted almost her entire life to the corps in ''Double Duty'' (2009). She tries to life as a civilian with the idea to know what it's like to be a regular woman. M.J comes back in action when her girl friend Sophia (played by Susan Duerden), was being ripped off by Sophia's assistant Carl (played by Alfonso Freeman).


She is presenter of the reality acion TV documentary ''America's Superwoman, Next Action Diva'' (2012). She is mentor of 8 strong female beauties who compete against eachother. The women must prove their stamina, talent and sex appeal to the jury. The judges are ''UFC's Big John McCarthy, actress Karen Black and Gene Lebell''.
